Over a period of six years, J.R. Johnson Engineering tracked the project spend for two air quality control projects with total installed costs (TIC’s) of $135MM. We provided monthly reports indicating where money was being spent and why, along with providing actual spend data to forecast. This timely data allowed management to keep construction schedules aligned with budgets and authorize engineering design changes only when absolutely necessary, avoiding costly overruns. Both projects were successfully completed ahead of schedule and under budget.
