J.R. Johnson Engineering provided engineering services for the installation of a new trip and throttle valve for a Turbo Blower. In order for the installation to meet NEMA nozzle ratings, the 12” high pressure / high temperature steam line had to be redesigned. A pipe stress analysis program was used to develop the pipe routing and pipe supports.
